Mirrors as Portals
In my painting, each frames serve as portal into an imagined future in which black women are protected and adorned. Now offered as mirrors, these sculptural works frame the world in which the viewer hopes to see.
Every mirror is a one of a kind handmade work, created in my San Francisco studio. Made of foam clay, coated in pigmented resin for a high gloss finish.
Sculpted from foam clay, then coated with pigmented resin for a beautiful high gloss finish. MIDI mirrors are 16 x 20 inches. MINI mirrors are 11 x 14 inches (so not actually mini!).
Can be hung vertically or horizontally. Shipped out within 3 to 5 business days.
